This spontaneous trip to Cateel, Davao Oriental was a result of unexpected closure of hiking destinations. Determined to beat the heat, I sought out the highest waterfall in the country. However, due to reconstruction and earthquake damage, Aliwagwag Falls was closed. I encourage everyone for future visits once it reopens.
