What if rest didnโt mean slowing downโbut pushing yourself to the edge? This chill adventure to Mt. Pulag via the TinocโTawangan Trail wasnโt your usual weekend hike. It was a full-day battle of endurance, mental strength, and trustโthrough forgotten trails, mossy forests, rolling grasslands, exposed cliffs, and leech-infested descents in the dark. From sunrise in Tinoc, Ifugao to a midnight finish, every step tested why we hike in the first place. Painful? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Because sometimes, the most difficult climbs give us the clearest peaceโand remind us that rest isnโt found in comfort, but in the mountains we dare to face.
